Savory Pizzelle Recipe:

Ingredients:

• 500 grams of flour

• 125 grams of butter

• 125 grams of grated feta

• 1 egg

• 1 teaspoon of salt

• 2 teaspoons of caraway seeds

• 130 ml of milk or as much needed to make it like a ticker pancake dough

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, grated salty cheese, and caraway seeds.

2. Add butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, salt, and milk.

4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms.

5. Preheat your pizzelle maker.

6. Scoop just enough so that it does not run out of the pizzelle.

7. Place the dough onto the pizzelle maker and bake according to the maker’s instructions until golden brown.

8. Allow the savory pizzelles to cool before serving. Delight in this unique twist on the traditional pizzelle recipe!
